Sheep Genetics Sheep Genetics provides a platform for standardisation, calculation and use of credible and accurate breeding information across all sectors of the Australian sheep industry.
LAMBPLAN LAMBPLAN is the national genetic evaluation program for the Australian prime lamb industry.
MERINOSELECT MERINOSELECT provides simple, practical information for Merino breeders and producers on the genetic potential of their animals, by ranking them for various production characteristics, in the form of Australian Sheep Breeding Values (ASBVs).
Sheep Genomics The five-year $30 million initiative will assist sheep producers to use advanced genetics to fine tune their flocks for specific needs, whether they are for improved fibre, more muscle, increased fertility, or better ability to cope with parasites.
National Vendor Declarations (NVD)s Producers use the NVD/Waybill to declare valuable information about the food safety status of the livestock being sold. Buyers rely on the NVD/Waybill for accurate information on the livestock purchased and processors rely on the information to ensure only the safest food enters our food chain.

Joint Conference, Australian Society of Animal Production and NZ Society of Animal Production
You and your staff are cordially invited to the first ever joint conference between the Australian Society of Animal Production and the NZ Society of Animal Production. This will be held from the 24-27 June 2008 at The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
The program will include invited speakers and the opportunity to present original work. Submitted 4 page papers will be published in the new journal Animal Production Science which replaces AJAR and AJEA.
