MSA lamb & sheepmeat
MLA, its research partners and industry have undertaken R&D activities to define and improve lamb and sheepmeat eating quality (SMEQ).
The focus of the research was to provide lamb and sheepmeat supply chains with the tools and information to monitor and improve product quality and to better meet customer requirements in a practical and cost effective way.
The SMEQ program is now underpinned by MSA and is based on a supply chain approach.
Becoming a MSA registered lamb and sheepmeat producer
Lamb and sheepmeat producers can become part of the MSA program by completing a MSA producer registration form.
