East receives a soaking

Substantial falls soaked southern Queensland and coastal northern NSW in the past week, while parts of Victoria, Tasmania and SA also received rainfall in excess of 50mm. Temperatures in the south remained chilly, while the north also had relatively cooler conditions. After a wet and cold finish to June, conditions in Victoria are expected to remain damp in the coming week, while the rest of the country is expected to be dry.
