Good falls in the east

Eastern Australia had good, widespread rain this week, with the tablelands and coastal regions receiving falls in excess of 15mm. After a prolonged dry period, the majority of Victoria received some rain, while WA saw tropical cyclone ‘Rusty’ develop early in the week, bringing heavy rainfalls across the north-west coastline. Scattered showers between 5mm and 25mm were recorded throughout the NT and SA, while large areas in the centre remained dry.
