Hide prices stable

Domestic hide prices were steady this week, with only slight downward movements recorded for certain green and wet blue categories. The higher A$ again impacted international trading volumes, with buying activity limited. The sustained wet weather in Queensland and northern NSW will reduce cattle slaughter over the next few weeks, influencing available supplies.
