Quality hides limited

There has been limited movement to hide prices this week, with only minor shifts to some categories. The combination of overseas summer holiday period, a general shortage of suitable hides and the high value of the A$ have kept the market steady. The tight flow of cattle into processing plants throughout winter has helped to keep supplies reduced, but numbers are expected to rise heading into late Spring.
