Designed by local producers and industry, the presentations focus on the key profit drivers of beef businesses and sustainability practices that can make a real difference to a red meat business's bottom line.

More Beef from Pastures

Based on one of MLA's flagship publications, More Beef from Pastures: the Producers Manual, these events aim to provide beef producers in southern Australia with tools to help increase productivity while minimising risk in an ever-changing operating environment. Event topics address different aspects of production in a pasture-based beef enterprise including pasture growth and utilisation, genetics, stock control and market specifications.

This includes best practice procedures and tactics outlined in the manual including market focused production, natural resource management, soil health, genetics and animal health. Held nationally, these workshops are generally on-farm face to face events, with some workshops also held via webinar.
