Impacts of climate change on southern Australia livestock industries

This field day is to inform Macquarie Valley livestock producers & locals about impacts of climate change to livestock businesses and provide exposure to recent research projects on adaption and mitigation options.

This will allow producers to gain better understanding of the impact of climate change by localising the effect and impacts on a local level. Producers will be provided with tools to mitigate methane emissions.

Producers will gain a greater understanding of how climate change will impact their industry businesses and understand the research & tools available to assist them to respond to climate change.

 

Date:  The date for the field day is yet to be decided but will be held between 1 February - 31 May 2012
