Australian Livestock exports
Australia is the world's largest and most successful exporter of commercial livestock. The live trade is a significant contributor to the Australian rural economy and has provided an important market for Australian cattle, sheep and goat producers for 30 years.
The MLA and LiveCorp program supports this important industry by investing in activities and tools to foster its growth, both here and abroad. This investment is concentrated on research and development, market intelligence, technical services and market access and development for the long-term benefit of the live export industry.
