The Livestock Integrity program is Meat & Livestock Australia's involvement in issues dealing with livestock residues, livestock feeding, and livestock disease.

Livestock Chemical Residues

The Livestock Chemical Residue program provides up-to-date information regarding export slaugher intervals (ESI) and withholding periods (WHP). These are provided and updated monthly by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicine Authority (APVMA).

The use of ESIs and WHPs ensures that the risk to trade from residues in meat and offal is minimised.
