·         LPA NVD/Waybill price rise

Livestock producers are advised that the price of LPA National Vendor Declaration and Waybill (LPA NVD/Waybill) increased as of 1 July 2009. The price increase represents the first increase since commencement of the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program in 2004.

As of 1 July 2009, the price of LPA NVD/Waybills will be as follows:

For fast and efficient processing of LPA NVD/Waybill orders, producers are encouraged to place their orders online (www.ausmeat.com.au/lpa/Login.aspx) and to have their credit card details at hand.

Producers are also encouraged to take advantage of the significant cost savings (40% discount) available through the use of the electronic LPA NVD/Waybill via the Producer eDEC program.  Electronic LPA NVD/Waybills are available for cattle, EU cattle, sheep, goats and bobby calves.  To register for the Producer eDEC program, login to your LPA user profile and select the Producer eDEC button and then follow the prompts.

Note: The cover price of sheep LPA NVD/Waybill (hard copy and electronic) is being funded from sheep and lamb industry reserves in accordance with current Sheepmeat Council of Australia (SCA) policy.
