The inaugural Producer Advocates helped write the MLA More Beef from Pastures – The producer's manual that launched in August 2004.
The group has since grown to reflect a wider cross section of beef producers. As the advocates themselves will attest; they are by no means the experts, they are just normal producers with a story to tell about how they manage their businesses to reflect their own particular situation - their personal goals and aspirations, the climate they live in and the land and capital resources at their disposal.
