    MLA provides information on technology updates, improved environmental management systems, commercialisation, education and training.  Also, improving meat eating quality in our Food Quality, Safety & Value Adding section to producer training in our Learning section.

    MLA provides the latest news, analysis and information, market analysis, forecasting Livestock market reporting (NLRS) and industry information and structure.     Communicating the importance of red meat in a healthy diet, as well as providing easy and delicious recipes, is core to MLA's marketing efforts to Australia and overseas domestically.

    Each year MLA develops an annual operating plan setting out our programs and objectives for the year ahead (July to June). A progress report for the first half of the year is published in March each year, and an annual report is published in October.
