MLA collects information from the processing sector.
An important set of this information relates to co-products - offal, hides and skins, rendered products and pharmaceutical products.
Another set of information is slaughter statistics. MLA's National Livestock Reporting Sevice collects weekly data from selected processors in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
