MLA’s nutrition programs work to educate consumers of the  health benefits of eating lean red meat and to conduct research to find out more about the contribution of red meat to public health in Australia.

Consumer communication – MLA promotes the benefits of eating red meat to consumers through the 'RED MEAT Amazing Food' campaign.

Nutrition research – MLA’s Human Nutrition R & D program provides credible and sound nutrition evidence to support the essential role of Australian red meat in a healthy diet.  

Health professionals’ communication - GP's, dieticians and health organisations continue to be a major source of credible nutrition advice to the community. MLA's health proffessionals communication program ensures that these professionals are provided with evidence based on red meat's role in the diet.
