Strategic plan

The MLA strategic plan 2010-2015 maps out a clear direction for MLA's future and outlines the steps the company will take to meet its five strategic imperatives:

  1. Improving market access
  2. Growing demand
  3. Increasing productivity across the supply chain
  4. Promoting industry integrity and sustainability
  5. Increasing industry and people capability

The five year plan is reviewed annually to ensure it remains contemporary and reflects current industry needs.

Annual operating plan

Each year MLA develops an annual operating plan setting out programs and objectives for the year ahead (July to June).

The final report is a summary of the outcomes of the annual operating plan

Performance evaluation

MLA's independent evaluation framework strengthens the capability of the industry to generate strategic plans and also provides a context for reporting on MLA's performance.
