New software to make life easier for exporters
Two new pieces of software are being developed that promise to simplify the live exporting process. The first of these is a fully updated version of LiveCorp’s Export Cattle Trace. This will include:
All importing country protocols, not just China and Korea |
The ability to use a hand-held device instead of a laptop |
Better data storage that requires less hard disk space |
The ability to do all the necessary NLIS transfers quickly and seamlessly |
More flexible reporting procedures |
In-built report writer |

The ability to check the Australian Dairy Herd Improvement Society database to screen for generational certification for Chinese dairy cattle |
Improved help desk services |
AQIS recently expressed the desire to introduce a system that demonstrates superior compliance records with the aim of reducing intervention and inspection costs. The second software tool will assist exporters in meeting AQIS record keeping requirements and those required under the revised Operational and Governance Manual.
This tool will streamline an exporter’s response to the AQIS audit process and assist in providing records that demonstrate compliance record. A trial Microsoft Excel tool has been developed in consultation with exporters and will be refined over coming months.
Both pieces of software are expected to available for LiveCorp members in July this year.
