The Grazing fundamentals EDGE workshop gives you a broad understanding of the components of the grazing production system and the core, scientifically-backed principles behind optimising grazing land productivity.
Attending this workshop will help you better understand:
- the soils and plants in your area
- connections between land condition, pasture growth and animal production
- the importance of ground cover and soil moisture
- how to allow for climate variability when planning
- the process and components involved in forage budgeting
- the different grazing systems available.
