How the community perceives the Australian red meat industry and what Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) is doing to maintain community trust and confidence in our products is among the topics being discussed at MLA’s free webinar series this month.

More than 250 red meat producers and industry stakeholders tuned in to the first two webinars in the five-part MLA Updates: Redefining Resilience webinar series, and registrations are still open for the final three webinars in the series.

The third webinar, Redefining resilience through innovation across the value chain, on 11 November from 1-2pm (AEDT), will focus on the importance of capturing, integrating and interpreting the vast and increasing range of data generated through existing and new technologies.

The fourth webinar, Redefining resilience through growing market opportunities, on 12 November from 1-2pm (AEDT), will help attendees understand the global red meat market and know what consumers want in order to improve, build and develop their business.

The fifth and final webinar, Building resilience through community trust in the red meat and livestock industry, on 18 November from 1-2pm (AEDT), will focus on how the community perceives the Australian red meat industry and how to maintain community trust and confidence in our products through effective marketing and communications.

MLA Managing Director Jason Strong said the webinars are designed to provide updates, insights and inspiration for a resilient future for Australia’s red meat and livestock businesses.

“We want these webinars to help producers and our industry be adaptable and prepared for the future – and ultimately able to seize such opportunities to grow their businesses,” Mr Strong said.

Each webinar will also be recorded and made available through the MLA website.
