Tune in to Red Meat 2019 online

Red meat producers and industry stakeholders unable to attend Red Meat 2019 in Tamworth later this month can still catch all the action with the event to be livestreamed online through the event’s website.
Hosted by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), Red Meat 2019 is the industry’s flagship event and is being held in Tamworth from 18-20 November in conjunction with the MLA Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The event has a full program showcasing the Australian red meat industry, including the latest research, innovation and marketing insights, with the following forums and sessions to be livestreamed for anyone to view:
- Tuesday, 19 November:
- Producer Consultation and Adoption Forum
- Digital Forum
- Red Meat Integrity Systems Forum
- Wednesday, 20 November:
- Global Markets Forum
- Sustainability Forum
MLA’s 2019 AGM will be held on Wednesday, 20 November at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre from 3.30pm (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).
MLA members can pre-register to watch the AGM through a secure, members-only livestream online broadcast.

After registering, a confirmation email containing information about joining the AGM livestream will be sent.
MLA members not attending the MLA AGM in person are also reminded they have until 3.30pm (AEDT), Monday, 18 November, to vote by either returning their Voting entitlement and proxy form or lodging their vote online at: www.computershare.com.au/mlavoting.
At the AGM, MLA Chair Dr Michele Allan and MLA Managing Director Jason Strong will report on the company’s performance in 2018-19, as well as the company’s priorities and issues for the industry in the year ahead.
The formal proceedings of the AGM will include the election of one new Director, John Lloyd, and re-election of two existing Directors, Rob Fitzpatrick and Erin Gorter, to the MLA Board.
