Southern Australia receives winter rain and snow

Light falls up to 25mm fell across south western WA this week with isolated top falls of 50mm confined to the coast. The south eastern states and parts of southern Queensland experienced a significant cold front this week, receiving precipitation measuring up to 25mm and snow in elevated regions. SA experienced only light showers of 1-5mm in the southern regions of the state, while the remainder of the country was dry.
