Summary
Consistent with MLAs strategy to support Australian research capability, these contract numbers covered sponsorship for the Society for Reproductive Biology Annual Meetings in financial years 2006, 2007 and 2008. Sponsorship included supporting a key-note speaker for travel, accommodation and registration; and the "MLA New Scientist award" awarded to the best paper presented by a young researcher working on reproduction in ruminants. The award will contribute to the costs of travel to an international meeting or to a working visit to an overseas laboratory.
