Summary
This project facilitated an assessment of the standing stun slaughter box that has recently been modified in Indonesia. The key objective was to confirm that from the on site assessment of the box design being used that it is able to consistently achieve OIE animal welfare outcomes during restraint and slaughter using pre-slaughter stunning.
