Over the years, MLA has developed a wide range of online decision support tools for producers. The use of online technologies via the MLA website and the broader internet is both an effective and cost-efficient means increasing access for MLA members to technical information about red meat production and management.   As continuing research brings to light more information that MLA need to communicate, it is important that the tools used to support these messages continue to evolve and offer a consistent user experience.  This requires ongoing investment in the tools to keep them current, accessible and relevant for users.
The vision for MLA's online learning offer is that it is an integrated package of online decision-support tools and educational resources that put the outcomes of MLA on-farm information in the hands of producers. In this context, MLA has also been undertaking research into eLearning opportunities to supplement our face-to-face type workshop s and courses in meaningful way, while taking into account potential challenges and barriers to adoption.
