Summary

Under arrangements agreed in 2012, AMPC manages the majority of projects relating to off farm eating quality & meat science that are directly funded by processor levies, and then matched with a Commonwealth funding.

MLA continues to manage all MLA Donor Company projects, as well as projects in this area that are jointly funded by both processor and producer levies.
Some MLA managed projects were transitioned to AMPC as part of this new arrangement.

These include project A.MQA.0014 'Enhancing retail colour stability and shelf life of lamb meat for key markets'.
