Summary
The Australian live export industry has developed the Livestock Global Assurance Program (LGAP) that will certify facilities that import Australian livestock against a standard that sets out requirements related to management and welfare of the animals within their custody.
This program will be underpinned by a robust compliance management technology solution that supports compliance monitoring, control and reporting. The aim of this project was to develop an audit and compliance technology solution that is able to meet all requirements required to support LGAP upon implementation.
