Summary

One of the most common diseases affecting dogs and older cats is osteoarthristis. Nutraceuticals such as glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and pentosan polysulpate are commonly use as adjunct therapties in the management of osteoarthritis to alleviate pain and to retard the progression of the disease.
