Summary

The current HSRA model was last updated several years ago and the IT/software approach has become outdated. This project updated the HSRA model that aids and improves user and administrator experience, data validation at input, captures and stores data within LiveCorp’s data framework, and is constructed in a way that enables updating and integration of new features and connections with reasonable flexibility.

Objectives

The primary objective of this project is to update the HSRA software with a focus on user experience, integrating data capture capabilities (connected to LiveCorp’s data framework), shifting to an online application/software, reporting, and improving the ease of administration (including the updating of weather data and addition of new ports and routes).

Key findings

Website updated.

Benefits to industry

The new application will be built so that in the future it can be easily updated and be of a construction that allows additional features to potentially be incorporated and integrated into the system in an efficient and reasonably flexible manner. Some additions could include:
• Automated weather data updates
• Route map visualisation
• Connection

Communications and stakeholder engagement will be undertaken regularly and as a priority to ensure extension and adoption of the outcomes.

Future research
