CN30 partnerships communications hub

cn30_logo-cropped.jpg

This hub has been developed to help service providers working on CN30 partnerships projects to develop and implement communications activities in an effective and efficient manner.

These partnerships include the 'Carbon storage partnership' and the 'Emissions avoidance partnership'.

The project-specific information provided on this page is designed to be used in conjunction with the information provided on our communications resources hub

Communication activities carried out by partnership service providers are important to ensure relevant stakeholders are informed of the projects, understand their value and can access information about the projects and its progress.

MLA’s involvement in project communications

Communications activities are embedded in each project within the partnerships’ projects.

MLA’s expectation is its content team will be involved in the development of communications plans.

Once these plans have been developed, MLA can inform you about what communications activities and collateral (if any) will require ongoing approval from the content team.

MLA’s program manager will advise you about what materials will need their approval. Note, any media outreach must be carried out in conjunction with MLA and approved prior to release.

Messaging

When communicating about partnerships’ projects, please include the following statement in all external communications:

The project is part of Meat & Livestock Australia’s [carbon storage partnership or emissions avoidance partnership – delete which is not applicable] which seeks to explore and develop pathways to carbon neutral red meat production by 2030. This project is supported by [name of supporting funding providers].

Branding

MLA’s brand and style guidelines provide direction on how MLA’s brand is to be represented to reinforce MLA as a professional company and ensure it is recognised for the work it invests in.

MLA’s brand and style guidelines outline the font and corporate colours which should be used.

When logos are used in communications about the partnerships (e.g. in an event flyer), both the MLA and CN30 logos are to be used in the ‘primary brand area’. This is because MLA is the primary funding organisation of the partnerships.

The MLA logo is to appear on the top right and the CN30 logo on the top left.

The logos of supporting funding organisations can appear in the ‘secondary brand area’.

To assist service providers, MLA has prepared the following templates which indicate the correct placement of logos (room is provided for service providers to add their logos):
