PDS field day plus, Seletion and classing workshop - POSTPONED

PDS Field day, commencing at 8.30am at the shearing area of Longreach Showgrounds,  morning to discuss learnings from the Making Maiden Weight Producer Demonstration site (PDS) Project funded by Meat & Livestock Australian, and to improve your body condition scoring skills.

Followed by, a selection and classing workshop. Learn about:

• Setting a breeding objective
• Introduction to ASBV’s & traits of significance
• How ASBV’s can be used in conjunction with existing visual classing strategy
• Factors that influence selection and classing decisions.

The workshop will be held in the Fairmont room at the Longreach Civic Centre.
