The Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation’s (QAAFI) Student Association is delighted to invite you to the QAAFI Student Symposium on the 26th of November. The theme of the symposium is “A Future for Sustainable Food Systems” and we hope to showcase some of the best student led academic research and innovation in agriculture and food science; and also demonstrate how students are helping to shape the future of food systems. The symposium will take place in the Queensland Biosciences Precinct auditorium at the university of Queensland, St Lucia from 9:30am - 4:00pm on the 26th of November.  We’ve managed to secure eight guest speakers, including QAAFI centre directors, Ben Hayes, Ian Godwin, Neena Mitter and Mike Gidley. To accompany them in a panel discussion centred around the symposium theme: A Future for Sustainable Food Systems, we also have four industry members from across the food supply chain.
