Summary

Australia’s Rangeland goat industry has undergone rapid expansion in the past decade and this package is designed to build industry skills to embrace new opportunities and lift the profits of Rangeland goat enterprises.

The training takes place in key supply chain locations including processing facilities, depots and on-farm.

Objectives

  • Work with goat professionals to develop a resource proposal and feedback from rangelands goat production systems.
  • Develop producer and trainer manual.
  • Develop associated slides, KASA and Profitable Grazing Systems (PGS) resources.
  • Provide potential deliverer details and develop train-the-trainer activity resources.
  • Plan and conduct train the trainer (in association with PGS National Coordinator).

Benefits to industry

The purpose of the delivery program is to work with goat professionals to develop a resource proposal and feedback from rangeland goat production systems.
