Summary

MeatUp Forums are an opportunity for beef, sheep and goat producers to learn something new, stay up-to-date with the latest on-farm research and technologies, and meet others working in the red meat industry. Virtual farm tours offer attendees the opportunity to get a view into a farming business with how they run their operation displaying innovation and industry best practice.

Objectives

The objectives of the virtual farm tour video development was to film and producer 2 videos, one beef producer from Western Australia and another video of three sheep and cattle producers in South Australia, to be aired at the forums and then to be housed on the MLA website.

Key findings

Due to the nature of this project, there were no key findings.

Benefits to industry

MeatUp Forums are the leading awareness event being offered to red meat producers in Southern Australia.

MLA action

MLA will continue to invest in the delivery of MeatUp Forums.

Future research

Due to the nature of this project, there is no future research to be carried out.
