Summary
The MSA Centralised Infrastructure System project was developed to provide a centralised service-based solution within the myMSA infrastructure. The project delivered three core capabilities:
• MSA Centralised Asset System
• MSA Email and SMS Communication System
• MSA Task Scheduler and Alert System.
The solution improved security, governance, reliability, auditability, and operational efficiency across existing and future MSA digital platforms, including myFeedback and other MSA applications.
Objectives
The project aimed to:
• Establish a secure, centralised asset management system for digital resources such as standards documents, images, logos, and technical materials.
• Implement centralised email and SMS distribution services with enhanced security and audit trail capabilities.
• Develop a task scheduler and alerting framework to support automated business processes and system monitoring.
• Create supporting databases, APIs, and web services to enable integration across multiple myMSA subsystems.
• Improve system maintainability and reduce duplication across MSA digital platforms.
• Support future expansion of myMSA and myFeedback applications.
Key findings
As the number of myMSA and myFeedback applications continues to grow, there is a greater need for centralised management of digital assets, emails, SMS communications, and automated processes. The implementation of a centralised, service-based infrastructure provides a secure, scalable, and auditable solution that improves system reliability, enhances control of critical resources, reduces maintenance effort, and supports future expansion of MSA digital services.
