Summary

This project covered activities in Australia, Indonesia, APAC and MENA across market intelligence, industry trade support, stakeholder engagement and general program operating expenses outside of contracted engagement.

Australia’s livestock export industry employs thousands of Australians and contributes significantly to the national economy. Operated by MLA in partnership with LiveCorp, the Livestock Export Program (LEP) assists Australian livestock exporters and supply chains to meet regulatory requirements, improve performance and address market access issues.

Strong support will be provided to ensure communication with the community, governments and stakeholders for awareness and support of the livestock export industry, as well as understanding outcomes delivered by the LEP.

Objectives

To cover costs for the Livestock Export Program associated with domestic travel within Australia, overseas and in-market regional travel including attending industry stakeholders and government meetings.
