Over two sessions, learn how to calculate your cost of production (CoP), identify where it is useful and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Presented by John Francis from Holmes Sackett, this course will help you to:
- Learn what CoP is and how it can be a useful indicator of possible opportunities to improve farm performance and profitability
- Learn how to calculate CoP using the MLA CoP calculators
- Learn what the CoP is for your own enterprises
- Learn how to identify opportunities for increasing profits
- Learn how to use the CoP calculator to plan for improvements
- Learn how to run CoP scenarios to quantify improvements
Cost is $300 per person and includes assistance with reviewing your own farm CoP data.
First session:
9am – 3pm, Thursday, 25 August
Second session:
Will be scheduled with the group for 3-4 weeks later
