This year’s conference combines a traditional conference setting and field trips to three progressive family farm businesses.

Farm visits:
“Bonaccord Ingram” Vegetable grower & beef producer. A large-scale family business employing 200 workers.
Treasure’s “Wuk Wuk Beef” Award-winning small beef and meat supply business, employing niche marketing.
Beasley’s “Emu Park” “Beef as a business, not a hobby”. Beasley’s will discuss evidence-based agriculture.

Conference Program includes:
MLA’s Strategic Plan - Richard Norton, MLA MD
International beef outlook & Market projections - Tim Ryan, MLA Market Analyst
New cuts of beef and how to prepare them - Sam Burke, Product Development Chef, MLA

Conference: $60 per person, $40 for second person from the same business, $30 for secondary / tertiary students
Dinner: $60 per person. Commences at 6pm at the Bairnsdale Racecourse
