MMfS Lamb Survival & Post-Mortem Workshop | Katanning

These half-day workshops are for anyone interested in understanding more about the causes of lamb deaths and how to maximise lamb survival.

Agenda:

  • 12.30pm: Registrations, tea & coffee.
  • 1pm: Ken Hart (AgInnovate Narrogin) – Managing ewes to maximise lamb survival
  • 2.00pm: Afternoon tea
  • 2.15pm: Autopsies – Develop hands on experience in identifying how individual lambs died
  • 5.00pm: Clean up and complete evaluation forms.

Location & date:

Wednesday 13th July 2016, Great Southern Agricultural Research Institute, Katanning, W.A.
1pm – 5pm, arrive at 12.30pm for registrations tea & coffee

  • $40 per head, including afternoon tea

  • Cost is covered for DAFWA Lamb Survival Initiative participants through the program.
