The Grazing Land Management EDGE package (GLM EDGE) is customised for northern Australian producers. It is designed to give you a practical and planned approach to improve the productivity and sustainability of your country.

During the workshop you will: 

  • how to influence pasture growth and quality
  • key dates for management decisions
  • assessing land condition
  • land management strategies including tree‐grass balance, fire, sown pastures and weed control
  • financial implications of a change in land management
  • principles of successful grazing systems
  • long‐ and short‐term carrying capacity
  • choosing tools and strategies to improve your land condition and diet quality for your livestock.

This package includes:

  • three‐day workshop
  • workshop notes and reference materials
  • specialist modules in land reclamation and gully rehabilitation
  • morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas.
