- the role of genetics in underpinning performance in beef breeding enterprises.

- managing and planning through condition scoring (including yard demonstration and assessment) plus knowing and achieving critical mating weights in heifers
- optimising joining periods and bull management and health to extend bull working life (including practical demonstration of a veterinary pre-joining check)
- reproductive disease awareness and management.
