Grazing management field walk

This field walk is supported by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA). NQ Dry Tropics has partnered with MLA to develop a Producer Demonstration Site to accelerate the adoption of grazing management practices in the Burdekin.

Following a favourable season at Glenalpine, we will undertake forage estimates for the dry season, and discuss the approach Glenalpine takes to dry season grazing planning.

There will be plenty of time in the paddock with Dick, who is always instructive. We will also look at some paddocks which have seen gains in terms of pasture species and biomass production.
