The ‘Northern Beef Research Update Conference’ (NBRUC) will provide participants with the latest results and technical information about key areas of beef cattle research and management in northern Australia that are primarily funded by Meat & Livestock Australia.

NBRUC is also an excellent networking opportunity for people working in or interested in the northern Australia beef industry.

Who will attend NBRUC?
Three hundred researchers, extension officers, industry advisers, agribusiness representatives, producers and students involved or interested in the northern Australia beef industry are expected to attend NBRUC.

What topics will be covered at NBRUC?
Presentations from leading industry researchers will review and report on ongoing and recently completed research projects in genetics, nutrition, farming systems, animal welfare and health, agri tech, smart farming and building human capacity for a sustainable industry.

What else will happen at NBRUC?
In addition to the technical program the conference will include three social functions and a field trip.
