Join the ParaBoss extension team as we deep dive into a topic that is very timely across much of Australia. Understanding and minimising the contamination of pastures with worm larvae is an important tool for managing worms in our livestock. The cooler months present the optimal time to reduce the larval load on pastures thereby preparing them for our most vulnerable livestock.

Dr Fiona Macarthur will explore aspects of the lifecycle of parasites and how we can manipulate them on farm to reduce the number of larvae on pastures to:

  • safeguard livestock,
  • reduce reliance on chemical intervention, and thus,
  • the onset of chemical resistance.

We look forward to you joining us for what will be an informative overview, along with some excellent signposts to tools that you can use.

There will be ample time for questions, so we encourage you to ask.

Presenters: Dr Fiona Macarthur

Host: Dr Fiona Macarthur or Megan Rogers, ParaBoss

As always, we encourage you to send in any questions to extension@paraboss.com.au or ask them real-time in the webinar!
