Event details
- Date: Thursday 11 June 2026
- Time: 12:00pm – 1:00pm (WA time)
- Online via Microsoft Teams – Free
Close feed gaps, boost carrying capacity and design a feedbase that works 365 days a year.
Join MLA for the latest PDS Updates webinar, sharing practical insights from the SheepLinks Feed365 project in WA. This online session explores how diverse forage systems can support more resilient and profitable sheep enterprises by providing feed across the full production year.
Hear from WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s (DPIRD) Daniel Real and Paul Sanford as they discuss trial outcomes from four years of Feed365 research, including which forage species performed best in key seasonal feed gaps and how producers can adopt these options — whether that’s making small, targeted changes or redesigning part of their feedbase.
This session will focus on practical application: how to establish and manage new pasture species, where each option fits in a system, and how producers can use the findings to improve feed supply and whole‑farm performance.
