Victorian producers: have your say on MLA
15 May 2015
Don't forget to register for one of MLA's 'Your Levy, Your Industry’ forums happening in Victoria next week.
Following regional forums in Queensland and Western Australia in 2014 and events at Casino and Tamworth, NSW, this week, MLA will host functions at Wangaratta on 19 May, Bairnsdale on 20 May and Hamilton on 21 May.
The ‘Your Levy, Your Industry’ forums are designed to provide beef, sheepmeat and goat producers with an opportunity to hear from MLA’s Managing Director, Richard Norton, learn about MLA’s new R&D consultation model and have input into the future direction of their marketing and R&D levies. Most importantly, the forums will allow MLA to hear directly from producers.
Peak industry bodies including the Cattle Council of Australia and the Sheepmeat Council of Australia will also attend the forums and will present on industry key priority areas.
All producers are welcome to attend this free event. Complimentary morning tea, refreshments and a barbeque lunch will be provided.
Forums are also scheduled in South Australia and western NSW in June.
