2014-15 SA sheep and cattle saleyard survey results

Cattle
South Australian saleyard throughput for 2014-15 saw Naracoorte consign 110,744 head, the highest in the state for the financial year. Mount Gambier recorded throughput of 104,985 head, followed by Mount Compass with 54,925 head. SA Livestock Exchange ranked fourth, offering 26,439 head for the year while Millicent recorded 13,445 head.
Sheep
The South Australia sheep saleyard survey for 2014-15 saw SA Livestock Exchange consign 596,177 head, followed by Naracoorte with 414,761 head while Mount Gambier’s throughput reached 163,922 head.
