East Coast Low tracks through NSW
27 August 2015
The southern half of Australia had some useful rainfall this week (BOM).
- An East Coast Low produced moderate to heavy falls across much of NSW, generally in the order of 15mm and 50mm. As a result, cattle and sheep consignments eased at saleyards across the state.
- Queensland received some falls in the south-east, while Victoria had mostly light showers, with the exception of some moderate rain seen through East Gippsland.
- Southern SA registered up to 50mm following the development of a complex low pressure trough mid-week
- There were some good falls in south-west WA, however the central and northern parts of the state remained dry.
