Rain sweeps the country

There was widespread rainfall across the eastern states, central Australia and southern WA this week, as a low pressure trough swept through the country. NSW had the highest recordings, with drought stricken Walgett receiving up to 50mm, while good rainfall was also recorded in central Queensland. With harvest having commenced, this rain is indeed unwelcome for some.
