Rainfall mostly in the south

Rainfall occurred mainly in the southernmost regions of the country this week, with the majority of northern Australia remaining dry. Victoria received very light showers across the state, while isolated pockets in the eastern coastal areas received up to 25mm. Light falls spanned into southern NSW and western SA, while Tasmania recorded tops of 50mm in the north-west corner of the state. Southern WA measured up to 25mm, with the heaviest falls towards to the coast.
