Rainfall restricted to the south

Rainfall was recorded in the south-west of WA, coastal SA and the majority of Victoria, generally in the range of 5-25mm. Falls were heavier in Tasmania, reaching up to 100mm in places, while south-eastern NSW received only a few light showers this week. The northern two-thirds of the country experienced little or no rainfall.
